I Paid a Bribe

These listings are brief descriptions of projects we have not researched but that may be of interest to others in the technology for transparency field.

“Bribed? Didn't bribe? Powerless? Victimised? Angry?" I Paid a Bribe is encouraging citizens in India to tell their stories of bribery and corruption and is using these stories to identify the most corrupt departments and processes in the country. This initiative, organized by Janaagraha, was launched on August 15 (India’s Independence Day), 2010.

For more information, see Technology for Transparency Network researcher Namita Singh's report on the project, "I Paid A Bribe: An Endeavor in India."
