Observatorio de Sentencias Judiciales

These listings are brief descriptions of projects we have not researched but that may be of interest to others in the technology for transparency field.

The Observatorio de Sentencias Judiciales is a database of judicial decisions in Latin America that affect the rights of women.

The database collects high court decisions and monitors the adherence of six countries — Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru — to their commitments under the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women. The database also evaluates each decision on the basis of how well it adheres to these commitments and assigns it a rating.
